Ukraine: Boris Johnson says Zelensky’s address ‘moved hearts’

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said one of the proudest boasts in the free world was saying “I am a Ukrainian” after a live speech by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the House of Commons.

Zelenskyi’s speech was broadcast to MPs in the Lower House via television screens installed in the Chamber.

Members of the House of Lords also watched from the visitors’ gallery.

The President of Ukraine spoke in his native language while MPs followed a live translation through special headphones.
