Console ‘scalper’ on stockpiling PlayStations for profit

BBC Click’s Omar Mehtab spoke with a “scalper,” an unfavorable term for a person who buys and stocks popular products – making it harder for consumers to find the goods they want to buy, let alone get them at the intended market price to buy.

In front of a wall of stacked PlayStation game consoles that he bought to resell at a higher price, the former investment banker-turned-goods reseller said he was exploiting a gap in the supply chain.
