Jason Sudeikis on making “Ted Lasso” and the show’s future

When actor Jason Sudeikis introduced coach Ted Lasso to the world almost ten years ago, no one could have predicted the character’s trajectory.

It started as a silly advertising campaign for NBC Sports to promote the English Premier League football in the United States, but the Apple TV + program that bears its name has become a phenomenon.

60 minutes on Sunday, correspondent Norah O’Donnell reported from England where he met the stars of the show and went for a walk in Richmond.

In recently released videos, O’Donnell asks Sudeikis if Ted Lasso will fall in love and how many seasons he thinks the show will last. The Emmy-winning actor and student of Saturday Night Live also showed O’Donnell the dressing rooms of the AFC Richmond, telling the club’s secret history and by whom they are named after some of the Richmond Greyhounds.
