LEGO also promised a number of Back to the Future Easter eggs, including Marty’s hoverboard in the trunk, dates printed on the dashboard pieces, and Mr. Fusion’s device.
The DeLorean, Set 10300, is available for pre-order on the official LEGO website. It is not the company’s first attempt at a Back to the Future DeLorean, but admittedly this one looks much better than its 2013 401-piece set.
This is also not the only version of the iconic car that came back this year, as the DeLorean Motor Company announced in February a new electric car release.
The LEGO company has recently partnered with a number of iconic entertainment franchises. It recently announced that Princess Peach will be joining the LEGO Mario universe, while last month she unveiled a Horizon: Forbidden West Tallneck set.
