There were tears for Abi Webster on Coronation Street as husband Kevin reappeared as she waited for news about her baby. The abbot – and spectators – were shocked last week when she gave birth to a surprise baby, a boy she has been calling since Alife, at 28 weeks pregnant.
The work shock on the ITV soap came at the center of a drug and alcohol bender after Kevin went out on her after discovering she had a one-night stand before tying the knot. But in emotional scenes, Kevin arrived at the NICU from Weatherfield Hospital, where Abi’s premature baby was taken just for surgery after she was told he had problems with his bowel.

When her husband was seen in the hospital corridor, the new mother broke down before Kevin took her in his arms, assuming the baby was the result of a flag with her ex Tez after Abi joined the lie and him not telling her one-night stand was actually with Imran.

Kevin waited with Abi until Alfie’s surgery was over and she got the good news that the procedure went well. But when she asked if Kevin wanted to see him, he told her, “If it’s all the same, I’ll stay here,” with tears in her eyes.
Later, Kevin told Abi that he wanted her to stay at number 13 while she fought for baby Alfie’s worries. When she returned home, she found out that Kevin’s son Jack did not like the news and would stay with his aunt Debbie for a while.

But it was soon a difficult moment when Abi mistaken Kevin’s kindness as a hint that they were going to marry and she was rejected.
Abi then decided that it would be best if she did not stay and left with a trash can of her belongings, bumping into Imran and his fiancée Toyah on the street. But when Toyah offered her a spare room, Imran jumped in and said it was not a good idea, leaving Abi without a roof over his head.
Coronation Street fans, however, were quick to call Kevin over his “double standards” because he himself set a record for being a Love Cheat.
