A young woman of 18 years had been assaulted on Saturday night by two teenagers in a hall of the Guzzo Cinema in Terrebonne, in Lanaudière.
The young adult made the knowledge of one of the young one more week via the Internet. Both of them decided to meet in person at the cinema.
The 16-year-old adolescent presents himself at the Cineau Chemin cinema with the company of one of his 17-year-old friends.
The trio decided to install everything at the bottom of the hall, isolated from some 75 Spectators present. Young people consume alcohol. The young woman becomes somnolent and the two adolescents would benefit from the sexual assault.
Spectators disturbed by what happened in the room alerted employees, who joined the police.
Terrebonne police arrested the two young men on the spot and found that the alleged victim was not in a normal state.
“She was practically unconscious. The police called the paramedics. […] “This is the first time that a situation like this has taken place in a public place,” said Joël Lamarche, spokesman for the Terrebonne police.
“I was very surprised. I have an 11 year old daughter and four boys. I was asked where the world was. I also asked about how she sent the young girl, her parents and the parents of the two young people. Of all my years in the middle of the cinema, it’s the first time I’ve heard a seeming story, it’s a nonsense. It’s particular, ”said Vincent Guzzo, General Manager of Cinéma Guzzo.
The investigation is currently under way to determine if the young woman was drugged.
The two suspects were released on bail.
Their dossier was submitted to the Director of Criminal and Criminal Prosecutions (DPCP). They could face sexual accusations.
