Productive American playwright Theresa Rebeck had her biggest hits across the pond – in fact, many of her Broadway hits never made it to the UK. But here’s a rare world premiere in the West End for one of her works, even if one is rooted in it by two heavyweight American actors: David Harbor and Bill Pullman star in “Mad House,” a dark comedy about a group of siblings on her dying father’s rural Pennsylvania home, with an eye for splitting his inheritance. Harbor will play Michael, one of the siblings; The Pullman plays Daniel, the dying father. Rebeck’s regular collaborator Moritz von Stuelpnagel reigns supreme.
