Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson weigh a combined 295 kg, and show an incredible 100 kg body transformation as the couple prepares for the “toughest boxing match in history”

Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson combined to tip the scales at almost 300 kg as they set up for the toughest boxing match in history.

The couple should finally resolve their bitter quarrel on Saturday when they fight in the ring in Dubai.

Hall and Thor went to the scales in Dubai

Hall and Thor invented remarkable body transformations as they replaced the Strongman Arena for the boxing ring as they bid each other out.

It was a burning week in Dubai as the two former world strongest men came to the battle almost several times.

There was an incident at a gym earlier in the week where they were facing each other while Thor threw an energy drink box at his competitor when they met at a press conference.

But it was mostly a war of words between the pair and they have stepped on the scales in recent preparations.

Hall was first and weighed in at 142.2 kg, a much slimmer figure than the 197 kg he entered when he won the Worlds Strongest Man in 2017.

This represents an almost 55 kg weight lost by the Beast.

Thor was next and weighed almost 10 kg heavier and weighed in at 152 kg, a massive drop from the 205 kg he had at his Strongman Peak.

The Icelandic superstar, who also played The Mountain in Game of Thrones, lost 53 kg.

This means that the pair lost 107 kg during the course of their body transformations, but will still be the toughest boxing match in history, with the fighters weighing a combined 295 kg – over 46 stone.

talkSPORT.com spoke to Thor this week about his body transformation and he admitted that he did not enjoy the training at the beginning.

“At the beginning of my trip, I hated training because it was so hard,” Thor, a Reigns Total Body Fuel Athlete, sot talkSPORT.com. “My endurance was so bad and everything was in pain.

“I would get inflammation all over my body, my knees would hurt, my elbows, my biceps, my shoulders would burn everything.

“I was in so much pain every day. My endurance was terrible, so every single session I thought I was going to die.

“As the months went by, as my form got better, I started to enjoy it more. Now I really enjoy hitting the bag, doing technical work, sparring.

“I was nervous about going into sparring sessions, which is normal when you push someone and get hit, you get stressed.

“The more I did, the more experience I gained and I’m excited.

“Now I could not be ready anymore, now I’m just excited for Saturday.”
