Three company! The view was down to just three hosts during today’s episode, once again thanks to a series of COVID cases. After Sara Haines missed the entire week due to an earlier engagement at the table, the panel today also lost Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg – who usually takes time off on Fridays – joined the empty table with guest hosts Ana Navarro and Eboni K. Williams, and addressed the audience directly via this unusual setup.
“None of the people who introduced them are here today,” Goldberg said.
Navarro confirmed that the other hosts’ mistakes were really COVID-related, saying, “Poor Eboni came in to say hello to me, and I was like, ‘Don’t get the COVID!’
“I mean, you can not believe the day we had,” Goldberg said. “It was crazy and insane, and yes, there are only three of us today. So I might have to go across the table just to watch Eboni!
Williams laughed, joking, “Come on, bring it girl!”
“Here I come!” Goldberg answered.
This is not the first time this The view was shaken by COVID fears in 2022. The ABC talk show has dealt with a flurry of omicron-related hurdles at the top of the year, with Goldberg, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin all carrying the virus. Get well soon, ladies!
