Tottenham have warned ‘transfer show’ is coming for Harry Kane who reflects on Man City legend

Tottenham talisman Harry Kane fits in with a Man City legend step by step, but that will be the “transfer show” coming to North London this summer, says Dimitar Berbatov.

Kane’s future came under the microscope last summer under the influence of a persistent Mann City follow up. Pep Guardiola tried to bring the Englishman to Manchester to fill the light of Sergio Aguero.

The city has reportedly failed with multiple bids worth well over £ 100m. Reports proposed at the time Spurs Supremo Daniel Levy held for £ 150m.

The Cityzens eventually refused to bid so high, leaving Guardiola to play a series of rotating false nine this season.

While the city has remained a dominant force in English football, they have been goalless in four league games this year – three times more than Liverpool.

In the coming summer window, Man City are once again expected to address their center-forward position. However, persistent reports have suggested that they are targeting Borussia Dortmund Erling Haaland this time, not Kane.

That will be welcome news for Spurs fans who have seen Kane in recent weeks after a slow start to the campaign. It could, however, too Leave the door ajar for Man Utd to test the water.

Elo, talks to the Daily StarFormer United and Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov has warned that the transfer circus will once again knock on the Spurs door over Kane this summer.

“We will probably see a transfer show around him this summer like last time,” the Bulgarian said.

“Come on he goes he’s going to talk about it so much more. But for the moment he’s a Spurs player and I’m glad he’s scored again.

Harry Kane favorably draws De Bruyne’s comparison

Kane deserves rave reviews for the expert manner in which he connects the game between the midfield and his teammates.

Kane often falls into lower positions and has the license to display his enormous passage area. His passing ability has been widely praised in recent times, with Jamie Carragher in particular claiming to be as good as Kevin De Bruyne.

Berbatov also drew comparisons with Man City’s Belgian midfielder. In doing so, he claims that Kane is already a Premier League major.

“For a long time he was one of the greats in the Premier League,” said Berbatov.

“The [Man] City play proved that, and not just because he scored goals!

“Honestly, I look at the taxman a little differently. His general movement around the field, and how he gets the ball.

“When he has the ball, there’s a calm around the field. And when he passes the ball, oh my god, it’s like I’m watching Kevin De Bruyne for Spurs.

“He’s so good at scoring goals and playing killer passes – so he’s between a 9 and 10.”
