West Ham to play against Lyon, while Rangers face Braga in the Europa League quarter-finals

West Ham United play against French side Olympique Lyonnais in the last eight of the Europa League, before a potential tie against Barcelona for a place in the final.

West Ham eliminated six-time winners Sevilla on Thursday, with Andriy Yarmolenko’s extension goal bringing the club to their first European quarter-final since 1981.

Their reward for a 2-1 aggregate victory is a tie against Lyon, who are tenth in Ligue 1, 24 points behind bitter rivals and league leader Paris Saint-Germain.

Either West Ham or Lyon will then draw the winners of Barcelona against Eintracht Frankfurt for a place in the Europa League final, which will take place in Sevilla on 18 May.

The reigning Scottish champions Rangers will meanwhile face Portuguese side Braga, while RB Leipzig will face Atalanta in the other quarter-final.

The first leg of the quarterfinals takes place on April 7, followed by the second leg on April 14.

The first leg of the semi-finals is scheduled to take place on April 28 with the return matches on May 5. The final will take place at the Sevilla Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on May 18th.

The draw took place at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon.
