With the quarter-finals of the FA Cup taking place between 19-20. March is over, all eyes will soon turn to the semi-finals of the tournament, and a date at Wembley.
The semi-final draw will take place on Sunday, March 20, shortly before the final quarter-final between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
The semi-final draw will be streamed live and former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler will be honored to lead the draw.
Unlike previous rounds of the competition, the semi-finals are both staged at Wembley Stadium in London, following the new tradition of recent years.

When will the FA Cup final be awarded?
The final of the FA Cup draw is set for Sunday, 20 March at 13:30 ET, half an hour before the start of the Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool quarter-finals.
- Date: Sunday, March 20th
- Time: 13:30 ET
- USA Stream: ESPN +
- Canada Stream: SportsNet Elo Premium
ESPN + streams the draw in the US. SportsNet Now Premium hosts FA Cup in Canada.
The official FA Cup Twitter, Facebook and YouTube channels also stream the event.
The draw is not set and because Wembley is a neutral venue, the home and away sides are drawn only for administrative purposes (for things like bench and jersey positions).
According to an official statement from the English Football Association, each quarter-final has already been assigned a number before the draw. For FA Cup drawings a number is selected instead of a team name:
- 1 – Crystal Palace vs. Everton winner
- 2 – Nottingham Forest win against Liverpool
- 3 – Middlesbrough vs. Chelsea winner
- 4 – Southampton win against Manchester City
Teams in the FA Cup Semi-Finals
The four teams at Wembley become the winners of the four quarter-final matches.
With two league teams still in competition, there is a possibility that a lower league team will reach the semi-finals, but qualifying will be a difficult request for both due to opposition.
Middlesbrough, in eighth place in the league, host European champions Chelsea on Saturday. The remaining quarterfinals are every Sunday.

There are two All-Premier League deals. Crystal Palace host Everton with a trip to Wembley welcomed by either fanbase as it is their only chance at silver. Premier League leaders Man City, who are the latest winners (2019), are aiming to come up with a Southampton team that they have hosted in both league meetings this season.
Nottingham Forest will stop Liverpool to finish the round. Forest have won the trophy twice in their history and, having already beaten recent FA Cup winners Leicester and Arsenal, they may well think that a third success is not over them.

When will the FA Cup finals be played?
With the quarterfinals scheduled to end on March 20, it will be almost a month before the next round, with the semifinals for the weekend of April 16-17.
The first match will take place on Saturday, April 16, and the second semi-final will take place a day later on Sunday.
Unlike the first two rounds of the competition, the FA Cup semifinals will not rely on a replay if a game is drawn in full time. When the score is tied after 90 minutes, the match continues with a 30 minute extra time, followed by a penalty kick, when the teams are still not separated.
There will then be a gap of just under a month before the finals take place. As is traditional, it is scheduled for mid-May, with the showpiece game expected on Saturday, May 14th.
