Speaking after Friday’s practice session in Bahrain, the Red Bull team leader was impressed by the new Ferrari F1-75 cars that were consistently fast. Verstappen’s lap time was just ahead of Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

“I think Ferrari are very, very fast,” Christian Horner told Sky Sports F1.

“You can see that Leclerc was fast today, that Sainz was fast. Every time they were on the track in the pre-season, they looked very impressive,” he explains.

“I think they could be good cars to beat tomorrow,” he added.

Asked if it would be nice to see another competitor besides Mercedes this season. “I really do not care who the competitors are; each of the teams is competitors, ”Horner replied.
