Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey give birth to baby Leo

The former Made In Chelsea star, 31, and her fiancé Ryan Libbey, also 31, welcomed their son in November after a complicated birth.

Louise wrote the post: “Trigger Warning: Birth Trauma. For a while I was conscious of posting everything with Leo in a plastic bottle because I thought I would be judged.

“I remember when I first got home, I told Ryan he could not post an Insta story because it had a bottle in the back of the shot.

“Of course I would have preferred to show the very natural, healthy skin on the skin … but that was not a reality for me.”

She went on to say that she had no “choice in the matter” and that she “should not have so much blame on myself” should not “choose, but choose” to feed our son.

“I think it’s important to emphasize these kinds of experiences in an attempt to break the stigma attached to bottle feeding and other challenges posed by new parents. The truth is – there are many women who do not breastfeed. can and many of those women feel guilty about what society sees as the optimal option, “Louise added.

“It’s funny that I always hate the ‘breast is best’ label, which was thrown around during the online NCT classes I did.

“Most lactation specialists take the general attitude that you should ‘go ahead, you can do it’ because they think many mothers’ give up ‘too quickly’ in their eyes.”

She recalled that Leo was “practically thrown at her” and was asked to stop immediately after her initial surgery.

At that time she was associated with one of the many blood transfusions she had and was on many medications. She said “something about it just felt really gross.”

“I was too ashamed to say no, so I moved on,” the mother added. “Then I experienced excruciating pain as my damaged uterus contracted (and bleeding), but I was told to keep going. The funny thing is that I was really, really good. Leo was amazing at clapping and I had a lot of milk, and also if it was nice to tie something to it, it just did not feel right.

“In any case, it turns out that I knew my body quite well because the pain was exposed as serious and I ended up in the intensive care unit, where I lost my milk anyway. Sometimes people have to accept that we are ours. know your own body best. There is not always a one-size-fits-all policy when it comes to health (or raising a child for that matter). So do. “

Louise is open about the struggles she has faced since the birth of Leo. One of them involves the struggle to leave the house.

However, the reality star has worked hard to turn things around.

With her future husband Ryan by her side, she even came to the gym to work on her fitness.

The star struggled with anxiety and shared that it flares in certain rooms in her home.
