Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas was hospitalized Friday with an infection, a court spokesman said in a statement. A spokesman told CBS News on Sunday that Thomas did not have one COVID-19[feminine[feminine.
Thomas is being treated with intravenous antibiotics and his “symptoms are waning,” the court said, adding that the 73-year-old judge “expects to be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.”
“Judge Thomas will be involved in the consideration and discussion of any case in which he is not present on the basis of the written, transcript and audio of the oral arguments,” the statement said.
