In a game with many twists and turns, Switzerland beat Sweden 8-7 this morning (Sunday) at the World Curling Championships for women in Prince George.
The two defenders from Switzerland led 4-2 in the fifth break before Sweden stole three in the 6th to give the Swedes a 5-4 lead.
The Swiss tied the game with one in the 7th and then went up 7-5 by stealing two in the 8th, before the Swedes got a pair in the 9th by a double takeout on the last shot of Skip Anna Hasselborg.
Switzerland, led by Silvana Tirinzoni, got the winning point in the 10th.
In other games in Round Robin Draw 3, Japan beat Italy 9-2, South Korea beat Germany 7-2 and the Czech Republic beat Scotland 10-10 in 10th place.

Team Canada (1-1) plays Turkey (0-2) in the 2:00 afternoon draw, before fighting the Swiss in a feature game against the Swiss at 7:00 tonight.
Kerri Einarson’s Canadian team won its opener on Saturday afternoon 9-2 over Italy before losing 6-4 to Norway on Saturday night.
The ranking puts Switzerland, Japan and South Korea at 2-0, Denmark and USA 1-0, Canada, Czech Republic, Norway and Sweden 1-1, with Germany, Scotland, Italy and Turkey all 0-2 .

The Canadian team has other round-robin games Monday and Tuesday afternoons at 2:00, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9:00 and 19:00
Qualifying matches take place on Saturday at 1:00 in the afternoon, with the semi-finals on Saturday evening at 7:00.
Medal games will take place on Sunday, March 27th at 11:00 am (for Bronze) and 4:00 pm (for Gold).
