BURR RIDGE, IL (CBS) At least one person, and possibly two people, were shot dead near an office building in the southwest suburbs of Burr Ridge late Monday.
A woman was shot and taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, officials confirmed. Their condition was not immediately available.
Burr Ridge police confirmed they were looking for a suspect in a shooting near 15-W-455 S. Frontage Rd.
As Kris Habermehl of CBS 2 reported, a bobtail – or a semi-tractor without a trailer – was parked on the spot. The truck tractor was turned off and officers were driven through.
There were also many police squads from various jurisdictions along Frontage Road on the east side of Route 83 just south of Interstate 55.
