ITV Coronation Street fans think they’ve seen a terrible Ukrainian homage to Roy’s Rolls

Nothing goes past Seeffans and eagle-eyed Coronation Street viewers think they’ve seen a subtle but poignant homage in recent scenes.

At the beginning of the hour-long trip to Weatherfield, and the first visit of the week to our favorite street, viewers of the ITV soap sat down with Amy Barlow as she sat down for a bit of negotiation in the cafe with her grandfather, Ken, to do. The teenager sought to get the inheritance that her grandmother – Ken’s wife, Deidre – had left for her to fund her education at the university after he severed ties with her mother and father.

Amy, played by Elle Mulvaney, was outraged last week when Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow did not believe her. She told them that new boyfriend Jacob Hay was hanging out for her when he beat up her cousin, Simon Barlow.

The confrontation on the street arose after Amy invited the bad boy Jacob to lunch with her parents, though they had already made no secret that they did not want their daughter to date the former drug dealer. After making it through that heavy meal, the scenes became even more toe-curling as Jacob decided to leave after being seen by Leanne Battersby.

And so the lovebirds at the table in front of Tracy and Steve said goodbye with a bad smooch that seemed to take a little longer than it should have. Then, back to his bed seat, Jacob bumped into Simon, who antagonized him against Amy.

In an offer to stop his new girlfriend, he slapped Simon in the face and full of view of Amy and Steve. Amy fell in love with her parents after they did not believe her claims that Jacob cared just for her, and viewers later saw that she decided to open up and leave the family home to be with Jacob.

But back on Monday night’s episode, Amy told her case why she needed the money, as she told Ken, “Grandpa, this is the day. I’d rather pitch to Steven Bartlett, but you can not have everything. ” who raised a laugh with Shona Platt.

Shona wanted to get into the conversation as she weakened, “Oh, I love him. He has an old soul in the body of a young god,” as she looked into the distance before taking a deep breath holds.

Dragons’ Star Steven responded to the news on social media and while many told him he “did it” to get a shout out on the Salford-based soap, someone else pointed out what they were “taking” “and it came just as the program’s iconic theme tune at the beginning of the episode came to an end.

@ MrSKell54357041 said, “I was more taken by the subtle Ukrainian flag colors behind the pie,” referring to the hint of yellow and blue seen behind the food cabinet at Roy’s Rolls, where Amy took the pitch to Ken.

Agree, @abackwardlol replied: “Same”, but not everyone noticed because they were distracted by the patry-based products themselves.

@ homebrew19721 tweeted: “Handy looking pie #corrie,” while @TavernHoyden said, “#corrie delicious hot pie klaxon closeup!”
