NFL: Za’Darius Smith signed a three-year, $ 42 million contract with the Vikings

Second Za’Darius Smith has agreed to a three-year agreement for $ 42 million with the Minnesota Vikings.

His salary could be set at $ 47 million if certain conditions were met.

The Vikings had announced that they had agreed with Smith on Thursday, but without revealing the terms of the contract.

Last week, the 29-year-old finally refused to sign a four-year contract that would have reported $ 35 million to the Baltimore Ravens. This therefore constitutes a significant increase in having chosen the Vikings.

The Green Bay Packers released Smith on March 14 in a series of decisions aimed at alleviating the wage bill.

It took place in a match and 18 games last year at the beginning of the regular season, before having to operate on two. It was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2019 and 2020 after having collected 26 sacks of a quarter in 32 games.
