Prince Andrew guilty of attending memorial service for his late father, Prince Philip

Prince Andrew will attend Prince Philip’s Thanksgiving service next week, it has been confirmed.

It will be the embarrassed Royal’s first public appearance since he unleashed the sexual assault against him by prosecutor Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

The service will be held on March 29 at Westminster Abbey in London and will commemorate the life of the Duke of Edinburgh, who died last year at the age of 99.

Royal observers were unsure whether Andrew, who had resigned from royal duties in 2020 due to his friendship with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, would be at the event.

But the BBC reports the Queen’s second son will definitely join.

According to royal commentators, Andrew may have been “out of public life” after the ceremony.

In January, the Queen dismissed her son from prestigious honorary military titles and royal patrons, and he stopped using his HRH style, in a move he effectively fired from the institution.

A large number of the royal family is expected to attend the service next week, in addition to Philip’s friends, colleagues and representatives of organizations he has supported.

It was confirmed earlier this month that US-based Prince Harry will not be attending.

A spokesman said the Duke of Sussex would not return to the United Kingdom for the occasion, but added that he hoped his grandmother would visit the Queen soon.

Her Majesty will likely be there, although she finds it “extremely difficult” to walk or stand for long periods of time and now use a wheelchair.

Veteran Reporter and Author Phil Dampier told the UK Daily Telegraph that despite this, the 95-year-old monarch would make an “enormous effort” to attend the memorial service.

“They have to give permission for her – and no one will reassure her. She is almost 96,” Mr Dampier told the publication.

British actor Christopher Biggins has claimed on television GB News that the Queen was now “for the most part confined to a wheelchair.”

“I have heard that the reason she does not do many of the events she is supposed to do and cancel them is because she is in a wheelchair,” he said.

“She does not want to be seen; she is very proud.

“It’s so very sad and I hope she’s able to celebrate her anniversary.”

The monarch has canceled a number of appearances at public events recently and has been seen much more often with a walk.

To get the Queen “comfortably” into the memorial service, it was suggested that she come by helicopter instead of longer car journeys.

The monarch can also arrive in front of all the other guests and sit before all the others arrive.

Otherwise, privacy signs or screens can be used if Queen Elizabeth does not want the public to see her with difficulty.

“Everything is being looked at to make sure the Queen does Philip’s service,” a source said The sun.

“But the most important thing is to make sure she’s comfortable.

A 15-minute flight is better than an hour behind a car.

“Some days she can just walk around.

“Other days she can not.

“It varies from day to day.”
