Audacious and Golden Triangle open Cannabis Clinic in Thailand

Australis Capital Inc. (CSE: AUSA) (OTC: AUSAF) – Doing business as Audacious – says it has partnered with Golden Triangle Health to open the first cannabis clinic in Thailand, backed by a US operator.

Herbidus Medical Center opened its doors on March 7 at Sukhumvit 13, Bangkok. The clinic has already seen nearly 800 patients, according to Audacious.

Herbidus is one of the first legal clinics to prescribe cannabis for a government approved treatment. Audacious will support the clinic with its expertise as well as white-label capabilities for product manufacturing.

Golden Triangle is owned by Thai food manufacturer NR Instant Produce PCL, with a market capitalization close to $ 400 million.

“We believe together we can be one of the key players in the Asian cannabis market, following our joint launch in the Asian CBD market earlier this year,” Golden Triangle co-founder Tom Kruesopon said in a statement.

Audacious CEO Terry Booth says interest in medical cannabis is growing in Thailand, and his company looks forward to bringing cannabis expertise and leadership to market.

“This is one of the few initiatives we are launching with Golden Triangle Health, which together with its parent company enjoys robust distribution channels. Thailandas well as liquid and powerful white-label capabilities for the manufacture of cannabis products, ”he says.

Golden Health Triangle receives support from Audacious Chief Science Officer Jason Dyck, who is also a Canada Research Chair.

“This will benefit the years of research we have done Canada in other countries, including Drs. “Dyck conducted his studies on one of the world’s largest databases of medical cannabis users to identify the main reasons for medical cannabis authorization and the health outcomes of these patients,” Booth continues.
