Best bet for Wednesday, March 23rd

Eagle Farm rarely plays worse than good and with the rail out 12 meters get all their chance even though riders from the rail come in the track.

Staying with proven performers on the track pays dividends and that will be my approach.

Only three of these have faced the starter and no more than once.

Billy Egan has been stable with in-form Steve O’Dea and Matt Hoysted and has the month on FINDER (3) who was narrowly beaten on debut and has since won a lawsuit. He will be thrilled to start things off on a winning note.

Desleigh Forster can get it ready fresh BOMM COURT (1) continues to win after a recent lawsuit. Jim Byrne is her “go-to” husband and from the gate one gets all the grace.

HOBSY (4) well debuted and will appreciate the greater distance and extra distance.

DOMINANCE (2) was heavily drawn but geared towards speed and proved to be both attempts. Blinkers continue and he could take a look.

BETTING STRATEGY: Market a guide but HANG FIVE (3) ticks the boxes.

The unraced brigade may have more to offer than those with uncovered form.

Lee Freedman produced a two-year-old to win on the Sunshine Coast soon on KIRSTEN (3) followed a similar training pattern. She drew poorly but with two solid promises and Sam Collett can feel her presence.

FITS (6) lost confidence after splitting company with rider around Ipswich and their preparation was aborted. She showed promise on her first two trips and was joined by jumpouts Toowoomba. With Kyle Wilson-Taylor, she can benefit from the inner gate.

Experience aims THE MISSIONARY (8) took advantage of two escapes this time around and escaped after being caught wide on the Sunshine Coast. Les Ross gives them no peace and fitter now they can appreciate 1200m and ride with cover.

It pays to respect a Desleigh Forster first starter when Jim Byrne rides and during TRES REDOUTE (9) may need longer she is out of a hard racemare and might believe her moderate process.

BETTING STRATEGY: Another ‘watch-the-market’, however, expects KIRSTEN (3) to run well.

None of these jumped out of the side but NSW form Trump that of Queensland.

Chris Waller brought ROLLER COASTER (1) up from Sydney to win a race and prepared him with a test. He has not shown much so far, but flashes continue and this trip on a major track should fit. Jim Orman is driving and he will not feel much weaker than this.

Another recent arrival BONLOE (3) rushed hard on the poly last start when their first escape for Paul Jenkins. This great stretch and back to turf will be much more to their liking. Craig Robertson stay on board and she will get her chance.

REALIDE (2) was supported and beaten during his last two outings but is very fit and gets all the grace with Kyle Wilson Taylor from an inside gate.

Blinkers return HELL OF A PRINCE (5) Turf and after two runs on the poly. He is better suited to this trip to Tuft and if he replicates his first-up effort of five starts back he may worry later.

BETTING STRATEGY: ROLLER COASTER (1) found a weak enough.

Barry Lockwood found the right course for FLYBRIDGE (3) which is not the easiest to follow, but the promising Menazzi after running in a Saturday Class 3 plate here last start over 1300m. The extra distance is not a worry, Robbie Fradd stays up and a repetition makes her hard to beat.

It’s D-Day for VITESSE FRANCAIS (2) who now has three runs back from a spell and will appreciate a return to turf. He put on his only previous start here, this is his journey and from the gate one with Jim Orman gets all the grace.

DUKE VU BUCKINGHAM (1) disappointed last start but was refreshed by a trial. With Kyle Wilson-Taylor he will get a good run.

SEEL (4) did not win from tour, but found a form and Sam Collett could set a pace.

BETTING STRATEGY: None on FLYBRIDGE (3).

Lots of chances here but these Brisbane midweeks are made for Chris Waller who has two chances with SHAMELESS MISS (6) in the EDMONTON (7). SHAMELESS MISS just missed out on a nasty arrival Newcastle last start and drop 2.5 kg with Jim Orman to drive. She is a mare with upside, can move forward, set the pace and pass hard. Stablemate EDMONTON (7) won both trips, turn signals continue and he runs as if this trip fits.

PERFECT WITNESS (3) is fit for two excursions and will enjoy on a tight track in the middle of the week. He has not won for over three years, but this trip fits in and Alex Patis’ claim gives him a chance.

VAMPIRINA DIAMOND (2) was only shortened to Ipswich later and will appreciate the longer journey on a larger route. Now third-up, she will get every chance with Kyle Wilson-Taylor from an inside draw.

RATIONS (4) finally delivered on the Sunshine Coast last launch. Back-to-back can be a question though Brad Stewart stays on and they won their only previous start here.

JUSTITIA (9) was beaten in Newcastle by SHAMELESS MISS but is now third-up and will appreciate coming back to more solid ground.

BETTING STRATEGY: Sure to support both Waller runners.

Tony Gollan found a 1000m race for MORE MANAGEMENT (3) after two good efforts in the Saturday school year since again. She will enjoy the setback back to Wednesday, this is her distance and with Jim Orman can get the job done.

PLATINUM EUROS (4) did not come last preparation but set a strong first-up record Natalie McCall will give him a lot of work. He has his themes though when the song is a serious talent and could blow this away.

JAW (8) did not enjoy the soft terrain during recovery, but has won a test since then and won his only previous start here over 1000m. Chris Munce took off the lights and Boris Thornton will have him up to speed.

BESTIE (1) just missed out on Saturday school year when last here. The 3kg claim for Cejay Graham helps and he does not pull any work of the speed.

BETTING STRATEGY: MISCHIEF MANAGED (3) is placed to win.

Four last start winners here but going from a maiden to a class 1 is always difficult.

Chris Waller has BIG ENGEL (7) resume as well as recent start winners DIR BIS PERSISTENT (12) which is likely to move forward and set the pace. BIG ANGEL launched and launched their recent campaign in Victoria Moonee Valley two starts back. Hir rezent Gold Coast Process was strong and their only victory came when fresh.

This great distance and longer distance will fit DU MAURIER (9) who loaded home when they proceeded to Toowoomba. She will get back but has more up than most of these in it Luke Dittmann can her motorized late.

CHICAMO (8) found it difficult to win but was not helped by a wide gate at Poly last start. She is better suited here and placed on her only previous Eagle Farm outing.

BETTING STRATEGY: Another Waller Quinella.
