Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed marks 13 years since her tragic death with a homage

Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed posted a series of photos in homage to his future wife to commemorate the 13th anniversary of her tragic death.

The 34-year-old recalls Jade in a sweet headline as he shared personal pictures of himself with the reality star, who died in 2009 at the age of 27 from uterine cancer.

In the first of the photos Jack posted on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, he was seen in a blue suit on his wedding day with Jade, who was caught in her fantastic white wedding dress as the couple exchanged rings.

“13 years since I last saw this angel,” he wrote emotionally about the image.

“Miss you every day #raiseawareness #smeartest”.

Jack was 21 years old at the time he married Jade, who sadly died days after her marriage.

The Big Brother star had been diagnosed with uterine cancer just seven months earlier, had publicly succumbed to the disease in an effort to raise awareness of the disease and urgently called for early obesity tests in the UK.

Jade left behind her two young sons Bobby and Freddy, who had been raised by her father Jeff Brazier since her death.

Jack posted a second photo on Instagram Stories of herself with Jade at an event, drawing happy souls as she wore a white dress.

“Always laugh,” the widower signed the picture.

The last photo he shared was a sweet shot of himself with Jade Kiss as they were photographed in the streets of London with some Selfridges shopping bags.

Jack opened up last year about how he still “struggles to live without Jade” when he told the Sun, “I did not know how to deal with it when I was young. I did not know what else to do.

“All I could think about was how depressed I was and I would just sit there and think about Jade all the time. So, I would just drink something every day, it would go from there.

“Then I would come to the picture if I drank a pint and people would think we had nothing to worry about.”

Jack agreed to sit at home and cry thinking about Jade and turned to “drink[ing] Vodka ”when he could not stand it anymore.

“I wish I had not done that and I wish I had treated it differently,” he continued.

“I went through a stage where I was really, really depressed. I just blocked everything. I came on stage where I just did not know what to do with my life and I saw my mother.

I was sitting with my mother crying, thinking I just did not want to be here anymore. I just wanted it all to end. “

Fortunately, Jack said his mother persuaded him to go on antidepressant medication, which improved his outlook on life.
