A young Western Australian woman has died in hospital after being stabbed repeatedly in the chest and neck in a violent incident.
Police and paramedics from St John’s Ambulance were called to a residence in Nollamara in northern Perth on Tuesday at 10.30pm and found a fatally injured 26-year-old woman who had heavy dust in her chest and neck. suffer.
The woman was transported by paramedics to the Royal Perth Hospital, where she later died overnight.

Shortly afterwards, a man was found stabbed in front of a neighbor’s property and arrested by police.
The 40-year-old man known to the victim has been arrested and is helping with the investigation. He was not charged.
WA Police Commissioner Chris Dawson reported the incident to radio host Gareth Parker on the Perth radio station 6PR Breakfast on Wednesday morning.
“It’s a very tragic incident,” Dawson reported. A 20-year-old woman was seriously injured.
“Despite the efforts of family, police and hospital staff, tragically this woman has now died at the hospital.”

Dawson clarified that the case was now a murder investigation after the woman’s death.
