Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla he tweeted Monday in the early hours he “supposedly” has COVID-19[feminine[feminine, but is experiencing “almost no symptoms.” This is the second time Musk has publicly announced the hiring of COVID since November 2020.
Apparently referring to COVID-19 variants, Musk said, “Covid-19 is Theseus virus. How many gene changes before Covid-19 is over? I’m supposed to have it again (sigh), but there are almost no symptoms. “
In the past, the tech billionaire widely regarded as the richest person in the world has opposed requiring a second dose of the coronavirus vaccine and has raised doubts about the vaccine’s obligation.
In a December 2021 interview with TIME magazine, Musk said he and his children had been immunized and that “science is unequivocal,” but that he opposes vaccination warrants.
“You’re taking a risk, but people do risky things all the time,” Musk said of those who choose to stay unvaccinated.
Musk clarified his position on vaccines last April following a complaint from scientists and health experts about the confusion that has arisen due to his widespread following on social media. He he tweeted“To be clear, I do support vaccines in general and vaccines against Covid in particular.”
Earlier this year, Musk praised truckers protesting a government vaccine warrant that is being rolled out across Canada. Parts of Ottawa were closed by trucks blocking major roads and by protesters on the streets.
Musk tweeted a photo of a long line of trucks and he tweeted“If you scare people enough, they will demand the elimination of freedom. This is the path to tyranny.”
