The Prime Minister said he was “very keen on any form of scrutiny” over claims he had misled the House of Commons over lockdown parties.
He wanted investigators to “do their stuff” and then “bang this thing on the head.”
Before MPs deal with parliamentary action on the demands and fines on Thursday, Boris Johnson said any potential inquiry by the Privileges Committee should be postponed until those already underway are completed.
