After celebrating seven decades on the throne, it is not surprising that the Queen has taken up more than a few historic firsts. She is not only the longest reigning British monarch, but she is also the most traveled British monarch in history. Her Majesty visited a remarkable 117 different countries during her reign. And if you were hard pressed to name many of them vacations – the majority were actually quite strenuous royal tours – there are some places around the world that have a very special place in their heart.
