Sunderland doctor helps toddler make parents’ wedding

A toddler was able to attend his parents’ wedding thanks to the help of medical workers.

Two-year-old Zac, from Stanley, County Durham, was diagnosed with a respiratory condition and would miss the family’s big day.

Counselor Cat Rose, from Sunderland Royal Hospital, decided to “make a difference” and worked with colleagues to ensure he could attend.
