School uniform costs can be a stressor for many parents.
A London charity is trying to help families in need by running a school uniform ‘pop-up swap shop’ to help with the cost of living crisis.
The service provided by the Smile charity, which supports local low-income families, was previously only available through a referral.
But it has now been opened up to the whole community, with even parents working full-time to outfit their children.
