Maesteg: Woman told daughter is 160m out of school bus zone

A woman was told her seven-year-old daughter lived 160m too close to the school to get a free bus.

Claire from Nantyfyllon and her daughter Seren live 3km from the school which means they are not entitled to free bus travel.

Bridgend Council says its two-mile criteria meet Welsh Government requirements.

Claire said: “I’m a working parent and nothing is being done to help. It’s a shame.”
