Send: Special educational needs improvements ‘complex’ – Keegan

The Government has unveiled new plans to reform support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (Send) in England.

The Department of Education’s long-awaited plans aim to improve the so-called “zip code lottery” system.

Speaking exclusively to the BBC about the plans, Education Secretary Gillian Keegan said many families felt they were “fighting the system” to receive support “for too long”.
