Scarlett Moffatt burst into tears as she sang opera on live television during this evening’s comic relief, along with a group of other celebrities.
The Gogglebox star, alongside Rosie Jones, Helen George, Tamzin Outhwaite and Nina Wadia, had 24 hours to rehearse before performing a medley of three arias from the opera Carmen at the London Coliseum this Red Nose Day.
The ladies were horrible and Scarlett burst into tears as they performed to the audience.
Speaking after the phenomenal performance of presenter Sara Cox, the 31-year-old said she watched comic relief as a child and being a part of the show is “amazing.” She added: “Everyone is born to know comic relief.”

Speaking ahead of the live performance, Scarlett said: “Being asked to participate in the Comic Opera among the rest of these ingenious ladies is incredibly exciting.
“I’m so scared, but very open to the challenge because I’m a long time fan of Red Nose Day, and doing comic relief work is just as important, so I really hope this helps people donate, donate, donate. “
Speaking on her Instagram account yesterday, the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star said: “I do not even think I’m sleeping tonight. I’m really excited but I’m also really nervous.

This is so far out of my comfort zone; I’m not a professional singer, I’ve never had a singing class, no matter what opera.
“People train opera for like years, sometimes decades and we don’t even get 24 hours, it’s crazy. But I do not regret signing up, I think it will be amazing.”
Spectators took to Twitter to share their admiration for the group, with one person saying, “They all have amazingly well-sung opera and what an inspiring woman Rosie Jones is. I love her so much!”

Another said, “Well, those girls had some balls to sing opera! Helen George was especially great.”
One fan wrote: “That was awful … 24 hours to learn it !! They destroyed it.”
Another admiring spectator said, “Say what you will. These women are beautiful and have really good singing voices!”
A spectator said she was in tears behind the performance, writing: “Huge congratulations to Comic Opera 5 on #comicrelief. Fantastic effort from you all. I’m in tears, and donate as I write. ”

A seventh TV fan who marked Scarlett in the post said: “Absolutely amazing, you should be so proud of yourself along with the rest of the ladies.”
This year’s comic relief produced many memorable moments, including a technical error at the start, a beautiful dance by Strictly Come Dancing champions Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, and host David Tennant suffocating as he said he was “helpless” in Ukraine. Kris.
