Joel Dommett has revealed he has to withdraw from the Comic Relief presentation this week due to the coronavirus.
The comedian and presenter announced the news on Instagram and also confirmed who he would replace.
In the post, Dommett said: “Super annoyed to report that I have the vid.
“This unfortunately means I have to log out of hosting @comicrelief ..
“My incredible replacement is the better looking, more talented @vernonkay who is Ace. I look forward to donating a lot of money from home like everyone else!”
Vernon Kay will be joining the star-studded line-up of presenters in the program on BBC One.
David Tennant, Sir Lenny Henry, Alesha Dixon, Paddy McGuiness and Zoe Ball also present the show, which is broadcast live by MediaCityUK in Salford.
Comic Relief will air on BBC One at 7pm on Friday 18 March.
