David Walliams and Matt Lucas drew criticism for a “disgusting” sketch that mimics Billie Eilish.
The comedic duo appeared on BBC Comic Relief on Friday evening (March 18), in a sketch that showed Walliams and Lucas imitating some of the music’s biggest stars.
Miley Cyrus, Lewis Capaldi, Post Malone, Adele, Lady Gaga and Billy Ray Cyrus were all parodied.
Many spectators, however, questioned how Eilish was exposed in the performance.
The singer’s signature black and green hair featured Walliams Eilish.
His character is seen sitting cross-legged on the couch concentrating on her phone while presenter Vernon Kay tries to ask her questions.
She sees Kay’s attempts to refuse talks, and says she’s too busy on TikTok and Mumsnet.
“I can come back a little later if you want,” Kay tells her, to which she replies, “Dude, I’m up The Daily Telegraph post a comment about Michael Gove “, then they fight over their phone.

When Kay introduces Lewis Capaldi (played by Matt Lucas) as a surprise guest, Eilish is seen as rude and not interested in Scottish musicians.
“Is he a contest winner?” hat seet. “I said no to meeting and greeting.”
Viewers took to Twitter to share their opinion about the skit.
“David Walliams (50 year old man) dressed as Billie Eilish (20 year old young woman),” one person wrote. “It’s really funny, seemingly, clever, to spot creative women who dare to be a little different.”
Commenting on Walliams’ Twitter post promoting the sketch, another wrote: “On a scale of yes, how much do you hate women?”
Another wrote: “Really did not enjoy David Walliams and Matt Lucas on comic relief. Not funny. If a woman did something like that, there would be boom.
“This imitation of Billie Eilish was just disgusting. Maybe it was funny back then but not anymore. At least keep the material up to date.”
A fourth person called the comedian’s impression of Eilish a “human horror over the understanding of the mind.”
Another person agreed that “the interpretations of Eilish and Cyrus were completely out of date”.
Elsewhere on the program, David Tennant was praised by spectators for his emotional speech on the Ukraine crisis.
