1. Côtes-du-Rhône 2017, La Redonne 2019, Jean-Luc Colombo * Bio *

Jean-Luc Colombo founded his domain in the Cornish appellation, in the Septonrional Rhine, in 1980. Several of his cuvées have been appealed in SAQ for several years, but we also find some more generic wines. Cited in the Green Guide of the Review of French Wines in 2010, Jean-Luc Colombo is a pioneer of Rhône wines and paved the way for many young winemakers. La Redonne is an assembly of viognier and roussanne and proposes an ample and aromatic bouquet with aromas of white and acacia fish. Available here and in surcharges at $ 25.80.

2. Valley of the Bekkaa 2020, Massaya

Liban wines are becoming more and more accessible on our market, and it’s so much better! Massaya, it’s not just wine, it’s also a restaurant and a distillery. The vineyard located in Bekkaa offers an exceptional climate for the vineyard. This white wine is a blend of white sauvignon and obidi, an indigenous staple of the region. In bouche, the wine is endowed with a supple sourness with a French acidity, aromas of pure pear and white flowers. Perfect for aperitif as for lunch, and it’s sort at $ 20.10! Champagne Collet Brut 2008

Champagne wines at this price, there are no streets. Considering that the wine was aged 8 years in the underground caves underground, we have a certain complexity … and we have it for our money! 4. Kamptal 2019, Variety, Matthia Hager * Bio *

Alert to the orange wines! Matthias Hager offers us a 100% green vetliner maceration wine. “Variety” means diversity, which makes reference to the different plots of land where the raisins come. It is good to point out that 40% of the wine is made from peppers, so Hager makes its own assembly with its press juice. It results in a wall wine, exotic, mineral, epic, complex and accessible. 5. Vinho Tinto 2019, Rufia, João Tavares de Pina * Natur *

The vineyard of João Tavares de Pina is to be harvested: situated in the campaign of the Dão, the vineyards are surrounded by forests and savory flowers. His wines are always worked on as little as possible and represent with brio the territory and gastronomy of the region. This red is an assembly of three indigenous cephalopods, be it rufete, jaen and touriga nacional. Despite offering a rather low alcohol rate for a cold region, we find a pleasant freshness with crunchy red fruit aromas and a touch of epic.
