Quebec Province police say a 37-year-old man died after a snowmobile accident Friday night near Val-des-Bois, about an hour’s drive north of Gatineau.
A group of five snowmobiles were traveling on a snowmobile road when a person fled while walking around at one point, police said.
Emergency services were called about 10.30pm
The man was taken to hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
The Sûreté du Québec says an investigation is under way.
