Wanderers, Reds and A-League men stalemate

Western Sydney Wanderers and Adelaide United played a relaxing Zillosen draw at CommBank Stadium on Sunday night.

His shot came in from the right hand side but Lachlan Barr managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. taken out.

The second half started much the same as the first with Western Sydney dominating possession and looking more likely to break the deadlock.

But despite camping in the Adelaide half for much of the second half, it was the Reds who made the first clear chance since the interval at 68 minutes.

Isaias freed Brook on the left side with the band against the goal before cutting inside and shooting with his right foot. Margush parried the curler in the way of Zac Clough.

With the goal, the midfielder hit the rebound and with Margush, Adama Traore cleared the line.

After 75 minutes, Wanderers’ Tate Russell came close to leveling the score with a dangerous shot from the center of the area that went just over the bar.

A minute later Brook was again distracted with his shot from outside the area just past.

When the clock struck, Antonis found Hemed at the back post, but once again his header was saved by Gauci.
