(CNN)A shooting in Miami Beach injured three people over a packed Spring Break weekend.
Two people were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds after officers responded to a shooting on Ocean Drive shortly after midnight, according to Miami Beach Police Department spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez.
“At 12:15 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a shooting along the 800 block of Ocean Drive,” Rodriguez said. “Two victims were located with an apparent gunshot wound and transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital by the Miami Beach Fire Rescue with non-life threatening injuries.”
According to the police, a third person was also injured at the same shooting range.
“We later received a call from Mount Sinai Hospital stating that a man had arrived with a gunshot wound, which is also not life-threatening,” Rodriguez said.
“Detectives are speaking to several people to find out what happened in the moments leading up to the shooting,” he added.
