Amazing Race Australia ‘thrown into chaos’ with Covid-19 cases ripping through production – as host Beau Ryan is replaced by Scott Tweedie

Amazing Race Australia took a snag after a number of Covid-19 cases erupted on set, sending production into isolation.
On Sunday, TV Blackbox revealed that the production on the Channel Ten show was “thrown into chaos”.
Due to isolation requirements, members of the production crew, surveillance producers and even guest Beau Ryan are out of duty at the moment.

TV Blackbox reports that TV host Scott Tweedie, 34, has meanwhile intervened for Beau 36.
Those affected by Covid-19 during the isolation period will recover in hotels while land-jumping production moves to its next locations.
In a statement to TV Blackbox, a Channel Ten spokesperson said the film will continue.

“A small number of positive COVID cases have been identified in the production of The Amazing Race Australia, but the upcoming season’s films are not affected,” the statement reads.
“The crew involved is isolated while production continues.”
The Amazing Race Australia returns to Channel 10 for a sixth season in 2022 and according to the official casting website, the filming started in February.
He also: Due to isolation demands, the members of the production crew, the supervision of the producers and even the host Beau Ryan (photo) are currently free.
Applicants had to be in teams of two, aged over 18, up to seven weeks available and fully vaccinated against Covid.
The show is filmed in a secret foreign destination.
Last season he was shot in Newell Beach, Queensland, due to Covid restrictions.
Despite filming abroad, the production company has strictly adhered to Covid-Safe Protocols are implemented on set.
