Polonaise Iga Swiatek (4th World Cup) defeated Greek Maria Sakkari (6th), 6-4, 6-1, Sunday in a final of the WTA 1000 of Indian Wells.
Swiatek will join the second world rank, Monday.
Indian Wells’ female final was broadcast on TVA Sports 2 and on TVA Sports directly.
