Allan McGregor’s angry Rangers X-rated reaction to fan protests captured by Sky cameras

ALLAN MCGREGOR was caught smoking as Rangers fans continued their protests against the Sydney Super Cup today at Dens Park.

The match was stopped three times as fans streamed and tennis balls hit the surface while the game was in play.

Sky Sports shut down McGregor as the second half began and he could be seen as the game was stopped.

Now I’m not a lip reader but I think he just called his own fans ‘Fucking Assholes’ 😂 pic.twitter.com/nQM5GvEiVm

At the point of the match, the Rangers lost with a single goal and had already missed a penalty by James Tavernier.

Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst respects the decision to play against Celtic in Australia was made in the best interests of the club.

A number of fans from both Glasgow clubs have reacted angrily to this week’s news that they will be competing against each other in the Sydney Super Cup in November.

Some Rangers fans seem particularly excited that the event in Australia has been billed as the home of Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou.

Fans ‘Group Club 1872, Rangers’ sixth-largest shareholder, wrote to the club this week seeking an explanation for the decision, claiming “alienating a significant portion of your supporter base cannot be seen as a sound commercial decision”.

Asked about his decision to visit Aberdeen before Saturday, Van Bronckhorst said: “We know there will be a big tomb during the World Cup and I know the club is looking for friendly players, not only in that window but also in that window. the international windows we have.

“I think it’s an opportunity for the club to go there and for the fans who are based in Australia. And of course, the club made the decision to go there because they’re doing the best they can for the club.

“For me, I just have to respect that decision and play some good friendly matches in Australia in November.”
