Lizzie Young, Nine’s Managing Director, Local Markets & Group Marketing, has resigned after more than a decade with the company.
It runs on WeAre8, an Adtech startup that rewards users for viewing ads.
Nine CEO Mike Sneesby said: “Lizzie Young has made a significant contribution to Nine since joining us 12 years ago and we thank her for her passion and energy that she has brought every day. We wish her well in her new role as CEO of WeAre8 Australia.
She has held various roles at Nine, including Managing Director – Commercial Partnerships, Group Content Strategy Director and Director of Powered and was appointed as Non-Executive Director of Domain in 2020 and Future Women in 2019.
Young becomes the second executive to leave Nine during Mike Sneeby’s tenure, according to publishing officer Chris Janz.
A replacement is yet to be announced.
