International rock legend Sir Rod Stewart has extended his 2022 arena tour with additional shows in London, Glasgow and Birmingham and a new show at Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Friday, December 2nd.
Following the release of his 31st studio album The Tears of Hercules, Sir Rod will be taking his strikingly raspy vocals and massive catalog of hits to the road later this year.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale Friday at 9 p.m.

He was praised as the most beautiful singer of his generation; he wrote a few songs that were converted to modern standards; has earned countless of the industry’s highest accolades, including two induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the ASCAP Founders Award for Songwriting, New York Times bestselling author, Grammy Living Legend, and in 2016 he was officially named ‘Sir Rod Stewart ‘after being hired by Prince William at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity.
On the album, Sir Rod Stewart’s new enlightened love for songwriting grows stronger and is his fourth new album of original songs since 2013, when he reconnects with his songwriting muse to record Time, the chart-topping album that topped the charts. 10 came to the United States. in ten countries worldwide, including # 1 in the UK where it has been certified platinum double-platinum.
For the last time, Stewart wrote nine of the album’s 12 songs, including the first single, One More Time.
The album is a project that is close to Stewart’s heart, especially the song Touchline, which he dedicated to his father, who taught him and his brothers to love football, a tradition that Sir Rod passed on to his sons.
In the sleeve note of the album, Stewart says he was proud of the album.
“I’ve never said that about previous efforts, but I believe this is by far my best album since a year,” he writes.
