The Labor leader has called on the government to back a Labor call for the reinstatement of 800 P&O Ferries workers who were made redundant last week.
Ahead of a vote called by Labor in Parliament on Monday, Sir Keir Starmer regretted that the treatment of workers was “disgraceful” and called for government support to ban the practice known as “fire-and-rehire” by employees.
