George and Amal Clooney watch casually as the Power couple dress for departure from Washington DC

George and Amal Clooney were wearing casual clothes when they were spotted at a Washington DC airport on Monday.

The Oscar winner, 60, is wearing a black polo shirt with blue jeans and brown shoes, and brown-tinted sunglasses.

Amal, a 44-year-old human rights lawyer, was stylishly dressed in a crisp orange jacket over a white T-shirt with gray slacks and black heels.

The Beirut-born beauty wore her dark locks with black sunglasses and a black purse.

The couple was seen carrying their luggage on the spring Wednesday of a wagon in the back of a black van.

Amal was previously seen visiting the White House on Monday, according to a report by FOX Business, as the outlet said it had asked her if her trip was about the current situation regarding refugees leaving Ukraine during the invasion of Russia. .

Amal spoke to TIME magazine earlier this month about what she’s wearing in her career, as she was named one of the Women of the Year for her efforts for justice.

“I react to what I see happening in the world,” she said. ‘A world where the guilty are free, and the innocent are imprisoned – where human rights abuses are free, and those who report abuse are imprisoned. As a lawyer, I can do something about it. Or I can at least try.

“So my work is focused on trying to free victims and prosecute perpetrators – and by extension, the work of our foundation is really trying to do that on a scale and worldwide.”

Clooney said she chooses cases in part because of the “ripple effect” they will have.

“I think about which cases will have the biggest impact – not just for that individual, but also for others who are vulnerable,” she said.

The Midnight Sky star and lawyer have been married since 2014 and are parents to twins Alexander and Ella, four.

In her interview with TIME, Clooney was asked about her marriage to the A-list actress, and how she uses her platform for causes she is passionate about.

“The marriage was wonderful,” she said. “I and my husband have a partner who is incredibly inspiring and supportive, and we have filled a home with love and laughter. It is a joy beyond anything I could ever imagine.

‘I feel so happy to find a great love in my life, and to be a mother – that’s how I get my balance.’

She continued: “In terms of an enhanced public profile, I think all I can do is try to shed light on what’s important. That can definitely benefit some clients.

‘When I’m in a job function and reporting on it focuses on irrelevant topics, I can not do much about it. Since I can not control it, my approach is just not to stick to it and just move on with my work and my life and hope that the attitudes continue.

“And I really feel like it’s a female solidarity that has been built on these issues, where other women are calling it that in a way that might not have happened five or 10 years ago. So attitudes are changing.”
