Holby City Spoiler: Jac’s surgery is missing before the last episode

The end of Jac? (Images: BBC)

Tonight’s episode of Holby City was incredibly emotional. It opened with Max (Jo Martin) writing about how difficult and dangerous the operation that Jac Naylor (Rosie Marcel) is going to be will be. At the same time, we saw that Jac was still determined to be as responsible as possible, but her health soon failed.

She went to the theater where the surgery was taking place, and her mind ran through previous surgeries, situations, and people in her life. Suddenly, she found that she could not speak or breathe properly and began to choke. She managed to call Elliot (Paul Bradley) to help her, and insisted that he make her a promise about the operation: ‘Complete removal or you let me in, you let me go. I do not want my last days to suffer. ‘

Elliot promised, but as the operation progressed, it became clear that Max would not completely remove the tumor. Elliot knew he had promised to let Jac die if that happened.

Meanwhile, Sacha (Bob Barrett) and Jac had gone to her apartment to get her sister’s locker when she asked. The apartment was pretty bare and cramped except for Jac’s daughter Emma’s room, which was full of color and love. When Sacha found Jac’s wishes in a letter to Emma, he realized she was expecting to die and ran back to the hospital hoping to see her again.

When he arrived, she had already undergone surgery. Max and Elliot’s faces were full of sadness. Sacha took the lock and placed it in her friend’s seemingly lifeless hand – and her fingers closed around it. Her eyes opened. “It worked,” she said.

Unfortunately, it did not work out. Elliot told her that they could not get the tumor out and he regretted it – for not rescuing her and not fulfilling his promise. Jac was absolutely disappointed. Elliot said he would find another way – but with one more episode to go, would he do it?

We know that Ric Griffin (Hugh Quarshie), Mo Effanga (Chizzy Akudolu), Joseph Byrne (Luke Roberts), Bernie Wolfe (Jemma Redgrave) and Serena Campbell (Catherine Russell) will all be Holby next week. Could there be anyone on that list who could save Jac Naylor’s life?

Meanwhile, Dom (David Ames) expressed himself when he discovered that Ange (Dawn Steele) did not trust him about Josh (Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge)’s bulimia. Holby Vicar Lexy (Jenny Howe) received good news about a kidney transplant and then bad news when she was diagnosed with heart failure. And returning character Ken Davies (Hamish Clarke) was a reminder of the days when Jac Naylor could fix everything.
