Brooke Kinsella sees her brother and baby daughter Elsie and says ‘give it a go’
Brooke Kinsella is expecting baby number two.
The former EastEnders star has shared the happy news that she is pregnant with her second child.
The 38-year-old already shares 18-month-old daughter Elsie with her husband Simon Boardley, 43.
“It’s all kiss for now … Here we go again Simon Boardley,” she said OK! Magazine.
The couple tied the knot in 2017, and Brooke made no secret of the fact that she wanted a little brother or sister for Elsie, who was born in September 2020.
She had previously told Mag: “I come from a really big family and I’m so close to my siblings. Having someone to go through life with is really important and I would love to give it to Elsie. our home for another little one.
“We are not getting any younger, so of course we have to think about these things, but I’m not in a hurry.
“I want to enjoy Elsie as a first mom and give her all the love and support she needs. We’ll leave it to the universe and see what happens.”
Brooke is also known for founding the Ben Kinsella Trust, which she founded in memory of her younger brother, who was tragically murdered in 2008 when he was just 16 years old.
The actress has been awarded an MBE for her charity work and has previously spoken of her heartache that Elsie will never have a relationship with her uncle.

She once said, “It’s a double-edged sword. Being Elsie’s mother is all I ever wanted, but on the other hand I can not help thinking of anyone who is not here to meet her. For me is missing the main character is Ben.
“Of course I love Elsie more than anything and love Ben so much. It’s heartbreaking to know that the two never get a chance to meet.”
And little Elsie is also a memory of Ben, as Brooke said during an appearance on Loose Women last year that her little girl looked like her late uncle.
She said she felt Ben’s presence from the moment she noticed she was pregnant, and said, “As soon as I bought the Clearblue package, I saw the word BEN. It was he who made his presence known. announced.
“Losing a sibling … who was one of my best friends … was difficult. The thought of losing a child is very horrible. Now that I know what it is to lose, it broke my heart again.”
In 2018, Brooke returned to EastEnders in a different role – and helped them find Knife Crime for a storyline that saw Shakil Kazemi shot by a band member.
