DYLAN BARNETT scored his first goal for Longford Town in their 3-0 win over Wexford in the SSE Airtricity League First Division.
Bray Jong opened the scoring in just two minutes as Gary Cronin’s men got their first win of the campaign in just their second game. Meanwhile, Adam Hayden and Joe Power were on the bench for Longford.
Elsewhere, Aaron Bolger started as Cork City made it three wins with a 4-0 win over Treaty Utd, with Barry Coffey, Cian Bargary (2), and Jonas Hakkinen scoring the goals for the readers.

Finally, Louise Quinn started and was booked into Birmingham City 5-0 Drubbing in the hands of Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Back in Scotland, Claire Walsh started as Glasgow City kept their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle.
Finally back to Ireland, where Aine O’Gorman was among the goals and Alannah McEvoy started in the Peamount United 5-1 victory over Treaty United.
Aoife Mohan was an undefeated substitute in the Wexford Youths’ 3-0 win over Bohemians, and Becky Cassin started in Cork City’s 2-0 defeat to Sligo Rovers; Bit O’Red’s first win as a Senior Women’s National League team began this summer.
