Look deeper into Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer’s tumultuous friendship as best friends now become enemies.

The Teen Mom 2 stars have been back and forth in their relationship for the past decade.

Now, Kailyn, 30, and Leah, 29, have taken another stroll down the street as their friendship has once again been strained over recent events.

The Frenemies first met when the mother of three and the cast of 16 & Pregnant came in for season two.

Her blonde colleague was with the network from the first season of the show, and the two immediately made a connection.

KAIL’S HONESTY

Anyway, things got touchy among the girls in December 2019, when Leah was said to have joined an alleged cult, the self-help group called Mastery in Transformational Training.

RadarOnline.com received text messages between Kail and a fan who discussed the matter with Leah that year.

Kailyn allegedly said in the text message, “I really do not know what to do. I do not want to lose her as a friend, but I also do not think any of this is ok.

“Unfortunately, these programs target vulnerable people who can be manipulated.”

LEAH KLAPP BACK

Then the author of Hope, Grace & Faith apparently hit Kailyn in January for posting a Clickbait article on Instagram about her three girls who were “in danger” because of their involvement with the controversial organization.

In January 2020, Leah appeared to be slapping her ex-bestie on Instagram, in the Rant.

“I’m so grateful to be in a financial position that I do not have to promote degrading articles to make a dollar,” she said.

“Is the money worth so much to you? I choose to use every platform I have to inspire and raise others, and I will continue to do so.

She ended the rant with, “Leave my daughter her positive messages from your pathetic beliefs. I still love you. Just do better with the massive platform with which you are blessed!”

OFF ‘DEAD ENDS’

Then in February, Leah did not join Kailyn for her planned trip to Iceland, and she also did not like Kailyn’s pregnancy announcement before the birth of her son Creed.

Leah, the mother of twins Ali and Aleeah, 10, and Adalynn, 7, re-tweeted during the holiday season: “You have to consciously cut off your dead to grow and bloom.”

BACK TO BESTIES

But via Instagram Live in March, Leah said of their relationship: “Kail and I are still friends. I love her. Our kids love each other.”

By July 2021, all tensions seemed to have lifted as Leah and Kailyn embarked on a journey to the Dominican Republic with their children.

A video of the couple was posted on Reddit, where the two laughed while Leah tried to fly Kailyn’s hair.

Kailyn jokingly referred to her Teen Mom 2 Kostar as a “girl mom”, with the caption: “Leah says Kail did not dye her hair 😂”

Fans commented on the MTV Star’s close relationship, saying, “They seem to be having a lot of fun together.”

Another agreed and said, “I’m sorry for this but I love their friendship.”

While someone else replied, “I agree. They’re pretty cute here.”

During the family vacation, Leah revealed that she met Kailyn’s baby Creed, who was 11 months old, for the first time.

The Teen Mom 2 star happily held Kailyn’s youngest son in a snap, which she signed: “Finally he met this cute little guy.”

Leah added a sticker that read “obsessively” over the headline while also tagging Kailyn and Creed’s Instagram accounts.

BYE BYE LEAH

The friendship between the two seems to have intensified after the tropical vacation, but recently their themes have resurfaced.

Last week, Kailyn went on a wild unfollow spear on Instagram, leaving only 11 people on her “follow” list.

The TV star admitted to being “depressed” because fans believed that the reality star had been fired from the MTV show.

She tweeted on Twitter: “Depression drives me **.”

Later, in an Instagram story, Kailyn shared her feelings in a boomerang clip that addictively looked like her post caption: “How I feel about the f ** kery I woke up with.”

Included in her mass was unfollowing was Leah, despite her over a decade of friendship.

One fan made the shocking discovery and took to Reddit where they started a discussion about choosing the star.

In addition to a screenshot of her profile, the follower also shared a photo from a previous Q&A session where the TV personality explained that she “kidnapped everyone” because they “trust no one”.

“Kail abducted people they ‘did not trust’,” the fan signed her post.

“Damn, imagine if you’re actually her friend and she’s pulling some S ** t like that. No wonder why she never stops,” a second stated.

“Wait, I thought she and Leah were best friends. Wtf did I miss you?” one written.

All of this comes as fans have speculated that the TV star may be fired from the long-running series.

Among the rumors, Kailyn did not film with the network after over six months.

BACK SLEEPS

Then, over the weekend, Leah appears to be beating her ex-bestie back in a rosy new TikTok.

The girl’s mom made her feelings known by sharing a video as she rapped the words “hold up b *** h” in a narrative post.

The clip featured the mother of three singing the song Do We Have a Problem? by Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby.

The reality star contains the message: “If my kindness is taken for granted …”
