Rwanda asylum seekers plan should be active in weeks – Andrew Griffith MP

The government’s plan to send some asylum seekers arriving in Britain on small boats to Rwanda could be implemented in “weeks”, according to Conservative MP Andrew Griffith.

Boris Johnson’s policy chief in Number 10 says the government’s latest plan to target migrants does not require new legislation, meaning it should be able to be “implemented and operationalized in weeks or a few months”.
